Mario 3D Animation

I have been working on a 3D version of super mario bros. Although it is far from completion I thought I would share some info on it and a preview of it. I am using Cinema 4D to make it in although I would think you could use any decent program. I have been forced to recreate the textures due to the fact that there arent very many good screenshots of the game. I have uploaded the preview and posted a page on it so go look, the link is below.

This man is a god. He has created the best things I have seen in a long, long, long time. I met blue (the artist) in a game of Team Fortress 2. He was a admin (of course) and had been doing some great things. Like teleporting me in the other teams base, tunnels, ect… . But then I added him to my friends list and got to talking. He is in to a lot of things and has a lot of things going on right now. School, Games, Maps, Sketches, and Friends! Its just so good that you want to sing along. I am very happy that I finally figured out what this song is called and am now going to share it with you!

Which is also hilarious and you guys should check that out. Gives a little insight into the mind of one of TF2’s most played characters, of course, not as popular as the scout.

APNG - Animated Png Images!

For the longest time I have been wishing that someone would make it possible to have animated png files in order to get rid of gif and its horrible quality. And finally someone made it. It turns out some guys from one of the greatest companies ever, Mozilla, made it. It was released with firefox 3 beta and later Firefox 3.0.0 but didnt recieve very big coverage. Until now. It is possible to make these animated png images (or known as apng’s) with the new firefox addon APNG Edit! It has a great interface and a great rendering time (almost zero). So if you would like to have entire movie clips as images and not lose a single pixel while doing so, get this addon.

Also, I managed to make a invisghost picture to show the differences between gif and png.

ClipNabber is one of the few sites that are out there for the help of the little man(us). ClipNabber pretty much gives the finger to youtube and dailymotion, and allows you to download your favorite videos free of charge and better yet, free of hastle. You just give the site the url to your video. For example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JkKTk_j7Sk&feature=PlayList&p=538F308AA0B57CC5&index=0 . It allows you to download in flv and MP4!! Its a great site worth bookmarking.
